Key Players who run the Company ~ King of Companies

The following play a key role in the present day company:
• Shareholders who elect the board. These may include individuals or institutional investors.
• The Chairman of the board who may or may not be an executive of the company.
• Directors which include those who may be employees (i.e. executive directors) and those who only serve on the board (i.e. non-executive directors).
• Chief Executive Officer who may or may not be a director of the company.
• Senior Managers who actually run the company on day to day basis. Some of these senior managers may be present in the board as executive directors.
